Jay Bloedorn is an Audit and Finance Executive with over 30 years of experience partnering with executive leadership to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and organizational transformations. As the founder of Ready Street LLC, Jay specializes in guiding pre-public and newly public companies through the rigorous IPO transition process.

A Proven Track Record of Success

Prior to founding Ready Street LLC, Jay served as a Director at Protiviti, where he led company-wide IPO readiness assessments, developed complete IPO readiness plans and established and led the IPO readiness program for high-growth clients. His career is marked by senior leadership roles at major organizations, including:

• Catamaran: Served as Vice-President of Internal Audit and Acting Chief Financial Officer for one of the 20 largest publicly traded companies in the Chicago area.
• Brightstar Corporation: Led a global team of 16 as Senior Director of Internal Controls and Compliance for a $10 billion logistics and services provider.
• CNA: Vice-President of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, managing company-wide expense forecasting and reporting.
• KPMG & Arthur Andersen: Led complex SEC reporting and external audit engagements, including S-1 filings for initial public offerings.

Education & Professional Foundation

Jay is a Registered Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He holds an MBA from the University of Illinois and a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University. At Cornell, he was a varsity football standout and was inducted into the Cornell Athletic Hall of Fame in 2021.
